Klaus Park Trail Series - 2012
After much success in 2011, Missouri Running Company Cape Girardeau will be bringing back the Klaus Park Trail Series in 2012. The series is comprise of two races, the Meandering Turkey and the Moonlight Ramble. Both races will be held on the same course out at Klaus Park between Cape and Jackson. It is approximately 4.5 miles of hilly, rooty, single track trails The course is not for the weak of heart however so be ready for a challenge!
When: Meandering Turkey, Saturday, November 17th, 1:30pm
Moonlight Ramble, Saturday, December 15th, 7:30pm (Light is required, either headlamp or flashlight)
Cost: $35 prior to November 1st
$45 after November 1st
$20 for single race prior to November 1st
$30 for single race after November 1st (Not guaranteed a shirt)
Awards: To top three in each age division
Series Awards: Overall male and female runners will receive a free pair of New Balance shoes. There will also be special awards for series division champions as well. Series results will be based on the accumulative time for both events. Your age division will be based on your age on December 15th. Must finish both races to be eligible for series awards.
Goodies: All series entrants will receive a New Balance Long Sleeve Tech Shirt and a pair of Swiftwick socks. Due to limited space on the trail and parking, field size will be limited 100 participants per race. The race is expected to fill quickly so register early if you want to guarantee your goodies.
Post Race Dinner: Immediately following the Moonlight Ramble on December 15th, dinner will be provided by Fazolli's.
